Catherine and Karen helped me with the sale of my late father's house in Alameda. There was a significant family battle over when and how to sell, who was responsible for what and who should pay for fixes and staging. This fight lasted over 18 months, and finally closed this November. Catherine and Karen were unbelievably patient and diplomatic during the entire drama, even when the other side decided to bring in their own agent at the end who did nothing to earn a commission. Can't thank them enough for talking me off the ledge so many times, and always being supportive and positive. The house sold immediately to a buyer they brought in for over asking price. I would recommend their area expertise, no nonsense approach and infinite patience to anyone in a second!

Before starting the home buying process we heard from everyone to go with an agent who is local, though I didn't quite understand the advice.
